A homeowner in Fair Lawn, New Jersey noticed their pool patio was sinking and settling badly. This can happen because concrete is poured over poorly compacted loose soil. Overtime, this soil settles and creates a void under the concrete. Unlevel concrete is a dangerous tripping hazard, especially around a pool.
The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Jack Huber, provided an inspection and recommended a polyurethane foam. Our foreman, Luis Aguirre, used the PolyLevel Injection System under the concrete. This is done by drilling small holes into the slab and then injecting the foam into the voids underneath. The polyurethane foam has expanding properties that allow for an accurate lifting and leveling of the concrete patio. Check out the before an after!
Quality 1st Basement Systems was contacted by a homeowner in Fair Lawn, NJ. They noticed their pool deck area, near the low end of their pool, was sinking a few inches and needed to be raised. Our crew used the Polylevel Injection to lift and level the concrete. Our team injected Polyurethane foam underneath each area of the concrete and raised it back towards its original level.
We helped this Fair Lawn, New Jersey homeowner save money by repairing their existing concrete patio instead of replacing it. We sent our Concrete Repair Specialist out to do a thorough inspection of the area. The patio area was a good size but was experiencing settlement which caused cracking in some areas. We used our waterproof and environmentally friendly concrete repair solution, PolyLevel Injections,
to raise and stabilize this patio area. Our team drilled small dime-size holes into the concrete and injected PolyLevel underneath the slab to remove the voids underneath. Once leveled, we filled in each crack to prevent future erosion as well.
We recently were contacted by this Fair Lawn NJ homeowner who was concerned with uneven concrete slabs in their front yard caused by settlement due to uncontrollable natural elements such as moisture, temperature changes, and poorly deposited soil. After meeting with our system design specialist Nelson, he was able to conduct an extensive examination and supply the owner with the best available solution. Next our foreman JD and his crew arrived at the home and began installing our ultra stabilizing PolyLevel Foam Injections beneath the concrete surface ultimately restoring and lifting the slabs to their original height. Our team of concrete repair professionals also applied our ultraviolet resistant NexusPro Joint Sealant to fill in any cracks and essentially protect the walkway from potential erosion. With the help of our specially patented concrete repair products this walkway has been completely reinforced and fortified to take on any future signs of settlement.
A Wallington, NJ homeowner needed to repair their sinking concrete walkway on the side of their home. The uneven path became dangerous after the trip hazards began to form over time from the settlement. They wanted a Concrete Expert to perform a thorough inspect and provide an alternative option to replacement. Since the concrete walk way was in good condition where there was no cracking or crumbling, this area was the perfect candidate for our Concrete Repair System, known as PolyLevel.
