A homeowner in East Windsor, New Jersey noticed their stairs on the front porch were sinking. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Chris Bowe, performed an inspection and saw that the concrete was settling into the soil. This can happen because when the soil underneath is too wet or too dry, or even poorly compacted, this creates weak soil. The weak soil cannot hold the weight of the concrete slab, which further causes the slab to settle and sink. Not only does this look unappealing to the home, but it creates a dangerous tripping hazard. Our foreman, Victor Leon, used the PolyLevel Injection to raise the sinking slab. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that is injected by drilling small, penny-sized holes below the slab to raise it back to the original level. Now, the homeowner can walk safely into their home without worrying about tripping.
Check out this sidewalk we raised in Hightstown, NJ. We drilled small penny-size holes into the concrete slab and injected PolyLevel underneath to raise the concrete back to level.
PolyLevel is a waterproof, environmentally friendly, lightweight polyurethane foam that permanently stabilizes the sidewalk.
A homeowner contacted Quality 1st when they realized their concrete was sinking and settling. Not wanting to go through the expense and hassle of replacing the concrete, they were looking for an alternative solution. Our System Design Specialist, Jay, inspected the area and suggested PolyLevel would be the best solution for the homeowner.
Our PolyLevel Foreman, Richard, went out to complete the installation. Richard and his team drilled penny- size holes into the concrete and injected the polyurethane foam. They were able to lift and level the concrete within minutes without disrupting the surrounding areas. To complete the installation, our team installed NexusPro joint sealant to seal the joints of the concrete to prevent water from getting beneath the surface of the concrete and causing settlement in the future.
To improve the safety of their property, this homeowner contacted Quality 1st to lift and level their sinking concrete. Our PolyLevel team raised the concrete by injecting polyurethane foam into penny sized holes drilled into the slab. Once the concrete was leveled, the joints were sealed and the installation was complete. The sidewalk is now trip hazard free and safe for the homeowner and those coming to visit their home.
A resident in Somers Point, New Jersey was experiencing beginning stages of concrete settling to their walkway. Our foreman, Luis Aguirre, used the PolyLevel Injections to lift and stabilize the concrete. PolyLevel injections are done by drilling small, penny-sized holes in the slab and the polyurethane foam is injected into the voids in the concrete. This process is non invasive and will raise and level the concrete to its original position.
