This home in Wildwood, NJ sat above a crawl space that was dark, damp, and musty due to unwanted moisture sitting in the space. To fix this problem, the homeowner reached out to Quality 1st for a waterproofing solution. Our team assessed the space and equipped it with insulation that would simultaneously keep water out. Our SilverGlo Insulation is made up of a closed-cell material that won't absorb moisture and, therefore, won't rot or mold. The radiant heat barrier on the interior side of the insulation panels provides a heat barrier to regulate the temperature in the crawl space. The home was also equipped with a Sedona Dehumidifier to keep the circulating air clean and free of moisture. Now, this home will have a lasting dry and controlled environment in the crawl space!
Check out this crawl space transformation in Avon-by-the-Sea, NJ. To prevent moisture and humidity in the space, we installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System. CleanSpace creates a barrier along the walls and floor of the crawl space to stop moisture from passing through the foundation walls. By sealing this space, you block out dampness that can cause mold growth or threaten the wooden beams inside your crawl space. Keeping this space healthy protects the home and improves air quality. Shout out to our System Design Specialist, Dane, and our foreman David, for working with this homeowner to create a dry and protected space under their home!
At this raise farmhouse property the owner could feel the cold air coming up into the home. We encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier that will capture any moisture or vapor that seeps in. Then we placed on the foundation walls our SilverGlo insulated wall panel system that is high-efficiency graphite-impregnated insulation designed to keep the entire crawl space warm and will help save the homeowner money in the long run.
For this project the homeowner reached out regarding their finished basement and water coming in through the foundation walls. We were able to capture the water leakage with our CleanSpace Vapor barrier installation along with our WaterGuard sub-flooring drain system. The CleanSpace is a poly sheet material that covers the entire basement and works as a barrier for any water or vapor coming through into the home. This particular covering forces any type of seepage down to the sub-floor drain then flows into the sump pump, preventing any unwanted water in basement.
In Towson, MD, a homeowner who was recently struggling with persistent water seepage in their crawl space contacted Quality 1st for a long-term and reliable solution. Our team assessed the situation and recommended installing our patented SilverGlo Insulation Panels to provide superior thermal insulation and prevent moisture buildup. We then installed our mold-resistant CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System, which sealed the crawl space from water vapor, ensuring the area remained dry and protected from further moisture infiltration. These innovative systems not only improved energy efficiency but also eliminated the damp, musty conditions, transforming the crawl space into a clean, dry, and healthy environment.
The homeowner was thrilled with the results, knowing their home’s foundation was now protected and their living space was safer and more inviting!
