Our team transformed this wet basement into a dry and healthy space by installing a full waterproofing system and our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System. Both together will prevent moisture and humidity along with water from getting inside the basement. The CleanSpace on the walls will seal the basement from mold and water seepage that could cause a musty odor or dampness. It will also create a brighter and more finished look in the basement until they are ready to finish it to create extra living space.
Javier and Esau did a great job providing a solution to this damp and wet basement. By replacing this old sump pump they now are fully protected by Quality 1st Basement Systems.
Discovering their basement was very humid and musty, a Kearny, NJ homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to provide a solution before mold began to grow. We had our System Design Specialist, Jay Alvarez, go to the home and provide an estimate for the homeowner. After fully inspecting the basement, Jay recommended the CleanSpace Moisture Vapor Barrier would be the perfect solution for the homeowner. CleanSpace is a liner that is installed against the walls to stop moisture and humidity.
This homeowner in Kearny, New Jersey noticed their crawl space was damp and attracting musty smells. This happens when soil is exposed to the crawl space. Soil can hold moisture, which can eventually become water vapor that rises into the crawl space air. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Mike Dellechiaie, provided a thorough inspection. Mike suggested they encapsulate the space to seal it from the earth's elements. Our foreman arrived at the home and installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System. CleanSpace is a thick and durable plastic liner that is mold-proof and waterproof. This system will block any moisture from getting into the crawl space. Not only will the homeowner be protected from allergies and pests, but now they have a dry and healthy space for storage!
Our team recently addressed a crawl space in Kearny, NJ, which required a new waterproofing system to safeguard it from the damage caused by heavy rainfall. Under these conditions, the property was at risk of more serious damage that could compromise the building's structural integrity if water intrusion was not addressed. Our System Design Specialist, Dane, provided the property owner with a complimentary quote, which was subsequently followed up by our Foreman, Esau, and his crew to facilitate the installation.
To create a pathway for water to drain away from the foundation and crawl space floor, our Drainage Matting was installed throughout the area. This matting directs water into the WaterGuard Perimeter Drains, which channel the water into the newly installed TripleSafe Sump Pump. With three pumps integrated into one system, this sump pump is designed to manage high volumes of leaking water, preventing flooding in the space. Additionally, the drainage matting was sealed with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to inhibit water penetration, and the area was insulated with our SilverGlo Wall Insulation. With all these new components in place, this crawl space is now assured to remain free of leaking water and protected against humidity.
A Middletown homeowner was losing money and sleep over his exposed crawl space. The porous concrete allowed water and air to seep in, causing humidity and dampness. Quality 1st Basement Systems had the answers for these common crawl space problems! The crew installed the CleanSpace Liner, which is a crawl space encapsulation system that protects against water, outside air, and mold growth. This liner is made of layers of durable plastic, which is fitted to the crawl space to create a vapor barrier. Now this crawl space is waterproof, mold resistant and energy-efficient!
