Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

A homeowner living in Shrewsbury, NJ had a nasty crawl space where they were experiencing high moisture and a musty odor. Our Senior System Design Specialist, Ken Peare, did a full inspection of the crawl space and noticed water marks along the walls and floor. The crawl space vents were not sealed completely shut allowing humidity inside and there was signs of pests and critters as well. 

Quality 1st Basements recommended a full encapsulation system. Foreman Juan Garcia and his team installed a heat barrier known as SilverGlo on the walls of the crawl space for the cold winter months. Over the SilverGlo, our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier is installed to prevent water vapor and humidity from coming through the foundation walls into the crawl space area.
