Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This Normandy Beach, NJ homeowner owns a crawlspace that becomes very damp in the summer, so they needed to find a solution that would help eliminate the dampness. Luckily, Quality 1st Basement Systems was here to help! We installed our CleanSpace Moisture Barrier that prevents water vapor and humidity from passing through the crawlspace. It also transforms the area from a dirt crawlspace into a bright-white, and clean storage room. In addition, we also installed our SaniDry Sedona, which eliminates musty odors and filters clean air in the crawlspace. Since the installation, the homeowner did not experience any other issues with their crawlspace and has been fully satisfied since then. 

A Neptune, NJ homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to discuss their options on waterproofing their basement and making it moisture resistant. System Design Specialist, Ken Peare did a full inspection and noticed water stains along the walls. The homeowner had plans to finish the basement but wanted to protect their investment from water damage so Ken recommended CleanSpace along with A full Waterproofing System. The Quality 1st Crew installed WaterGuard and a TripleSafe Sump pump system then installed CleanSpace to the walls which is a Vapor Barrier to prevent mold and moisture. This Neptune Homeowner can now start finishing the basement knowing their investment is protected. 

Homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to schedule an appointment with System Design Specialist, Maurice Robinson, for concerns he was having in his crawl space. Every time it rained he was getting water and so his crawl space became damp and high moisture started to form.  

Quality 1st Basement Systems installed a Vapor Barrier Systems  to keep it clean and dry and moisture free. SilverGlo is installed to the walls as a heat barrier to keep the crawl space warm during the winter months. Next, The CleanSpace Drainage System is installed to the floors and walls over the SilverGlo to direct the water to the SmartSump Pump. Lastly, a Crawl Space Sedona Dehumidifier is installed to properly circulate dry air throughout the entire space. 

The homeowner was amazed at the transformation of his crawl space. He was thrilled to know that his sump pump has an alarm to notify him whenever there is a water leak and that his Sedona Dehumidifier would prevent moisture from forming. A customer in Neptune, New Jersey wanted their damp crawl space encapsulated and contacted Quality 1st for a solution. Our System Design Specialist inspected the crawl space and recommended that an encapsulation system be installed to eliminate the dampness and provide an area for storage for the homeowners.

Drainage Matting was installed on the crawl space floors to give the water entering the crawl space a channel underneath and directs the water to the sump pump. CleanSpace vapor barrier system was installed on the crawl space floors and walls to make sure water vapor and humidity do not pass through. This liner is durable and will not tear making it perfect for protecting the crawl space and a usable storage area. 

Jessica contacted Quality 1st Basements after noticing multiple signs of sagging floors. She had gaps between the floor and the interior wall from the floors sloping. Some of her doors and windows that use to operate succesfully were now sticking or wouldn't close. We sent System Design Specialist, Ken Peare out to inspect the crawl space and sit down with Jessica to discuss why her floors are sagging and the perfect solution to stable her crawl space beams!

Ken noticed signs that at one point water had gotten into her crawl space. The moisture from the water over time rotted the wood and deteriorated part of the floor joist. All of this caused her crawl space beams to sag creating uneven floors on the first level of her home. Ken recommended our SmartJack System, as the perfect solution to raise and stabilize the beams and the floor.
