Our foreman, Heriberto installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System which is a thick and durable plastic liner. CleanSpace is waterproof and mold-proof and will ensure the crawl space stays dry and healthy!

The homeowner knew they needed a waterproofing solution so they contacted the Quality 1st team. Once we assessed the space, we were able to recommend the best installation for the home's needs. We installed a complete encapsulation in the crawl space with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier and Drainage Matting pairing. The space was insulated with our SilverGlo Insulation to control the temperature and block water from coming through the walls. The crawl space got a new sump pump, our SuperSump System, and was equipped with a Sedona Dehumidifier for optimal moisture control.

Due to the high water table of this Union County crawl space, Quality 1st Basement Systems installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of the crawl space. Traditionally, WaterGuard is used in basements, but due to the unique circumstances surrounding this crawl space, it was the perfect fit. Water was coming into the crawl space through the floor joints. WaterGuard will drain the water to sump pump that was also installed. The TripleSafe sump pump will pump the water out of the crawl space and away from the home. This crawl space has not flooded since the repair was done!

Homeowner Michael noticed a lot of humidity in his crawl space. Quality 1st Basements was able to help Michael with his crawl space concerns by concealing the crawl space vents with CleanSpace vent covers to prevent the outside air and moisture from getting in. 

What is Crawl Space Encapsulation? Well, we encapsulated this Summit, NJ crawl space by covering every crawl space vent to prevent moisture and water from coming through. We put our Heat Barrier known as SilverGlo, on the walls to protect the heat from escaping the crawl space. Next, CleanSpace Vapor Barrier is installed on the floors and part of the walls to prevent water seepage and mold growth. By sealing the crawl space, you now have a dry, clean and healthy space.
