Our team recommended the installation of our specially patented Drainage Matting to redirect water away from the foundation, along with SilverGlo Insulation Panels to prevent condensation and maintain consistent temperatures. Finally, our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System was installed, creating a tight seal to prevent moisture from entering the crawl space and improving overall air quality.

With these advanced solutions in place, the crawl space was restored to a dry, healthy condition, giving the homeowner peace of mind knowing their home was protected from future moisture issues.

A homeowner in Westfield, New Jersey had high humidity and moisture in their crawl space and needed it encapsulated and contacted Quality 1st for a solution. Our System Design Specialist inspected the crawl space and recommended that it be encapsulated. First, drainage matting was installed on the crawl space floor to make sure no water gets trapped underneath the liner. The matting has raised dimples to make sure this does not happen and direct the water to the sump pump. CleanSpace vapor barrier liner was installed on the crawl space walls and floors to make sure no water vapor or humidity passes through. CleanSpace will ensure that the crawl space stays dry and healthy. To filter the crawl space air and keep it clean, the SaniDry Sedona is an efficient, high-performance dehumidifier that is small enough to fit into small crawl spaces. The Sedona will prevent any mold or mildew growth in the crawl space. The homeowners were pleased with the transformation of their crawl space.   

The goal of insulating a crawl space is to separate the earth from the home. Design Specialist J.C.Gibriano created a plan for this customer in Westfield to accomplish that. Foreman Esau Aquino and his crew prepared the walls with SilverGlo Insulation Panels which keep the cold air out while its tiny graphite particles reflect heat back into the crawl space for maximum energy efficiency. Additionally,  a durable CleanSpace liner was installed to prevent vapor from making its way into the crawl space through the dirt floor.   

Preventing cool or damp air from seeping into the crawl space, Design Specialist J.C.Gibriano proposed the rim joists be sealed and insulated for this customer in Westfield. Additionally, insulation on the walls and floor would help properly encapsulate the area to keep the space isolated from the earth. Foreman Esau Aquino and his crew installed the RimTight Rim Joist spray foam insulation as well as the SilverGlo Insulation Panels on the walls and CleanSpace Crawl Space vapor barrier.  

The access to our customer's crawl space in Westfield, NJ was small and getting rusty.  It also did not keep out water or animals.
