Signs of foundation settlement, such as sinking floors and cracking walls, prompted a homeowner in Cape May, NJ to seek a dependable, long-term solution for their crawl space. Concerned about the structural integrity of their home, they reached out to our team for professional assessment and repair. Our specialists conducted a thorough inspection to evaluate the extent of the damage and identify the underlying causes, including soil conditions and support deficiencies.
Based on the findings, we designed a customized repair plan focused on installing our patented SmartJack Support System. This advanced solution involves strategically placing galvanized steel posts to reinforce and stabilize sagging beams, effectively redistributing the weight and preventing further structural deterioration.
The installation restored the crawl space to a secure and strengthened state, providing lasting protection and a renewed sense of pride for the homeowner!
An existing customer of ours had referred us to Deborah from Stanhope, NJ, who noticed large stair step cracking in the exterior of her foundation. We sent Senior Design Specialist, Joe, out to inspect the foundation and design a solution that would stabilize the foundation permanently.
Joe recommended our State-of-the-Art Push Piers. The perfect solution for any home that has shifted or settled. Joe explained that cracks form when the soil beneath your home is no longer strong enough to support the foundation, and therefore when the foundation shifts, cracks form from the movement. Ignoring cracks in a foundation will only increase the chances of the foundation becoming unstable and unsafe. Joe designed a solution where 16 Push Piers would be installed on the outside of the foundation, deep in the strong soil, to transfer the weight of the home to the piers to prevent further settling and movement.
Subtle warning signs within a Mount Holly, NJ basement pointed to a serious foundation issue as ongoing settlement began causing visible wall bowing and structural deterioration. The homeowner, concerned about the long-term safety and stability of the home, contacted Quality 1st after realizing the problem was progressively worsening and required professional intervention rather than a temporary repair.
Following a detailed inspection of the basement, our team identified the underlying forces contributing to the wall movement and designed a customized stabilization plan. The solution included the installation of our patented CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcement System, a high-strength carbon fiber solution engineered to permanently stabilize bowing foundation walls.
Once installed, the system effectively halted further movement, restored structural integrity, and ensured the basement remains secure and protected for years to come!
Senior Design Specialists, Jeff, met with a homeowner who was in need of serious foundation repair. The homeowner had bowing foundation walls which not only decrease the value of this home but also made it unstable and unsafe.
Jeff designed a solution that would stabilize the foundation walls, protect the foundation against future damage and provide them with peace of mind.
Jonathan and his team installed our PowerBrace Foundation Wall Repair System which consisted of 6 PowerBraces across the bowing foundation wall.
Quality 1st Basement Systems recommended our Moisture Vapor Barrier known as CleanSpace be installed against the basement walls to prevent moisture and dampness. When most homeowners think of there unfinished basement, right away they think of that damp and musty smell. Our goal is to create a dry and healthy space and our CleanSpace Moisture Barrier will help create that.
