Brynne, from Neptune City, contacted Quality 1st Basements for a solution to his concerns in his basement. He noticed dampness from time to time during and after heavy rain. We sent Specialist, Javier out to do a full inspection of the basement area and design a solution that would keep the space dry.
Upon inspecting the damp basement, Javier noticed multiple cracks in the foundation wall. Knowing that over time this could cause serious foundation issues, he suggested the basement walls be stabilized. He suggested our Wall Reinforcing System, Carbon Armor to stabilize each wall and a TripleSafe sump pump to provide the ultimate solution for the dampness.
Carbon Armor used for stabilization and reinforcement of basement walls was installed at a residence in Neptune, NJ.
A homeowner from Ocean Township, contacted Quality 1st Basements to get an estimate to stabilize their foundation walls in their basement. We sent Senior Design Specialist, Jeff Nero out to inspect the foundation and design a solution.
He suggested our CarbonArmor Wall Defense System to permanently stabilize the foundation. Stronger then steel, this stripes gradually pull the foundation back towards its original position while stabilizing the walls to prevent future movement and bowing.
The homeowner noticed large cracks and contacted Quality 1st right away to have us out to take a look and recommend a solution. System Design Specialist, Kenny T. recommended our CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System to prevent future bowing to these foundation walls. When the walls began to bow inward, cracks formed. Although the homeowner never noticed the bowing, they noticed the cracks right away. We installed CarbonArmor Straps to each foundation wall to stabilize and prevent future movement of the foundation. This system provided peace of mind to the homeowner since they no longer had to worry about their homes foundation or the stability of it again.
A homeowner in Ocean, New Jersey noticed their walls were cracking and bowing inwards, which is caused by hydrostatic pressure against the wall. They contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Jack Huber, provided an inspection and suggested a carbon fiber strap to stabilize the wall. Our foreman installed the CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcement System which is made from a fiber-reinforced polymer. The straps are attached to the wall and fastened with steel brackets. The straps will support the wall and begin to pull it back to its original position.
