We decided a dehumidifier was needed in our basement. We did our research and concluded that something more than a store bought product was required. So we investigated companies that specialize in basement moisture problems, this led us to Quality 1st Basements. We made an appointment; in a few days we were sitting with Kenny discussing our options. What we quickly found was that Kenny is an expert in all phases of basement moisture, waterproofing and finishing. We chose the SaniDry XP Basement Air System, six SunHouse Basement Window Enclosures, and the CleanSpace Wall System for the basement walls. The next step, a date and time for the work to begin. When that date came, Mario and his crew arrived right on time. But wait, it gets even better. I thought a job like this would take days to finish. So much to install, outside excavation to remove the old windows and install the new ones. Nay, nay by 5 pm the installation work was complete. Clean up was next. Why was the work done by 5 pm?? It's because Mario and his crew knew exactly what needed to be done; they worked hard, they're professionals. Clearly they take pride in their work. There was a lot of soil left over after back- filling the enclosures, would it be left up to me to get rid of it, HOW? They took it all with them, putting it in 5 gal. containers and then loading it on their truck. Throughout, Mario briefed us on the crews progress, he answered my questions, showed different aspects of the job how it would be done, or would be done, and doing it gladly. It was about 8:30 pm when we said our good-byes, they pulled away driving away into the sunset. So, I've dealt with several Quality 1st members. Including Nicole, Kenny, and lastly Mario and his crew. What a pleasure dealing with a group of dedicated people that work together.

 Dane was the employee who came to my house for an estimate of repairs . He was so honest and straight forward as well as pleasant. Basically he told me there was actually very little that needed to be done. This could of went very differently and I would have believed him if he told me i needed thousands in repairs. It was actually a very refreshing first! Thank you Dane and I have several people who do need foundation/  basement repair. I will be giving your contact information this week. 

I hired this company to waterproof my basement back in May 2017. I can not recommended this company enough. It is not easy decision to make when you need to have your basement waterproofedbut this company will definitely get the job done right the first time!

Prior to having Quality First come, our basement flooded or got water in it after every rain and snow, but after they completed the job, we haven't had a drop since. The technician that came to our house was Will Harris, and he mapped out all the problem areas and made awesome suggestions... He wasn't pushy and forcing anything on us either... We went with a Triple-Sump pump, an Air Filter, and The Water Guard... This was awesome and are thrilled with everything! We will definitely be using Quality First for any waterproofing needs and other services.

My inspector did a very good job presenting and explaining all the products I needed to waterproof my basement. I thought about waterproofing my basement for a year before contacting Quality 1st. I am satisfied with the work done by Quality 1st Basement Systems.

Overall I am very satisfied with the work completed by Quality 1st Basement Systems. My inspector was very professional and helpful. I had been thinking about waterproofing my basement for about a year, and decided to make an immediate decision due to Hurricane Irene. The office staff that set my appointment was very nice and professional. My experience with the installation crew was great they were neat, quick, and cleaned everything up! Ryan was excellent he came in for yearly service and we decided to put in a new pump after 9 years. He was very clear about what needed to be done he was professional and friendly.

I am happy to have a dry basement during heavy rains, thanks to Quality 1st Basement Systems. My inspector was friendly and the installation team was terrific, they cleaned up everything and were very neat! I had been thinking about waterproofing my basement for years and chose Quality 1st after finding them on Angie's List. I also decided to invest in the battery back up system just in case the power ever goes out in the future.

The workers were very courteous. I had other estimates that were higher in price but the presentation and the information was so great I went with this company. My girlfriend saw the van in her neighborhood and suggested to give them a call. So grateful that I did.

I had this system put in my basement about 6 years ago ...I have not have any water since this was done.  However, hurricane Ida was the real test. The storm flooded many houses in my neighborhood. My basement did not get a drop of water which proved how great this system was working!

Quality First was amazing! They came as soon as we needed them and really worked with us on scheduling and payments.  They came back a second day as a last minute appointment (but first appointment of the day!) when we were concerned with some water in the basement that wasn't part of the original job.  Angela was amazing and texting me past business hours to figure out what was wrong.  I would use them again in a heartbeat!
