I was impressed with their work so when we bought a single home fairly recently that needed foundation work in the basement we called Quality 1st. I checked with some local contractors but it was out of their area of expertise. We met with Steve Ventriglio at Quality 1st. Steve arrived on time for the appointment. He completed a custom design for our basement. The price was competitive. They also provide their own financing which helped a lot. Steve is knowledgeable, personable, responsive, and great to work with. The crew arrived on time, had the right tools and materials, and worked tirelessly. The crew also cleaned up meticulously and was pleasant. I was impressed again with their work. Quality 1st still adheres to the same standards of customer service and workmanship as they did before Covid. It was nice to see they have not changed. We would recommend Quality 1st.

The team came into my basement this morning and was very efficient. They covered my kitchen floor and started to work. Juan G. and the men started at 9 and were finished at 11. I recently had some flooding in my basement due to a sump pump whose foot valve had become stuck. By the time I realized the problem, WATER. I managed to fix the problem but the carpeting was already soaked. With much effort, I removed the water and, over the next few months, ran repeated mold tests - which turned out ok, thank goodness. The other day I saw a Quality 1 Truck standing across the street from my house and asked the rep about installing TWO new sump pumps so that would not happen again. He was smart, polite, and, since it was the end of his day, gave me a full assessment of my options and took the necessary data. WITHIN THREE DAYS his team was able to install two great, double-pump sumps. I cannot thank them enough and I'm extremely impressed by both their professionalism and attention. I should note that my appointment was originally made for three months from now because they are so busy. This is only one thing they do out of MANY to care for basements. Call them; I think you'll be very pleased. It's unusual to see such honest and competent people these days.
