Trip Hazards are a problem in the past! With PolyLevel, we can lift and level each sinking slab, removing all tripping hazards!
The Community Association of Stonehurst were experiencing sunken concrete slabs by the entrance of the home. The slabs posed a tripping hazard to the residents of the area and needed to be fixed immediately.
PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that is injected through small holes, then the foam expands to fill the gaps beneath the concrete and lifts the slab back to its original level. Quality 1st was able to lift and level the various concrete slabs that were affected by the community. Polylevel is an efficient method for quickly and permanently lifting sidewalks.
Not only did we raise this homeowners pool deck back to its original state, we also sealed the joints using Nexus Pro Joint Sealant to protect the concrete slabs from future damage from natural causes.
Craig from Freehold, NJ contacted Quality 1st Basements about a few trip hazards he had in his backyard due to sinking concrete. He wanted a solution that would remove the trip hazards without having to replace the concrete. Our Concrete Repair Specialist, Jeff P. recommended our Concrete Lifting and Leveling solution known as PolyLevel.
PolyLevel is a light weight and waterproof foam that is injected beneath the slab to lift and level it back towards its original position. not only is the installation quick and easy but also causes no disturbance to the surrounding areas. Within just 15 minutes of completion, the concrete slab could be walked on or driven over.
Our Concrete team, led by Concrete Repair Manager, Shachon Kasey, raised and leveled the entire garage floor area that had settled roughly three inches. Our team drilled small penny- size holes into the concrete and began injecting PolyLevel foam beneath the slab using special equipment. The PolyLevel foam is not only environmentally friendly but also causes no disturbance to the surrounding area.
