A homeowner in Robbinsville, NJ, was looking to repair their basement wall from bowing inwards, so they called Quality 1st Basement Systems to offer a solution to fix it. The wall movement was caused by hydrostatic pressure on the opposite side. To secure each foundation wall, carbon Armor Reinforcement systems are applied to each wall section with a special epoxy to secure the straps. This system will not affect the homeowner's plans to finish their basements in the future. 

At this property in Westminster, MD, the homeowner was trying to sell the home but found that there were horizontal cracks in the foundation block wall. It was recommended for the owner to get the wall repaired with our Carbon Armor Straps, which will permanently stabilize the foundation walls. This install uses our fiber-reinforced polymer that is 10x stronger than steel and is flexible enough to stop the bowing wall. 

Our company was referred to this customer by his Structural Engineer for the repair of his block foundation. There was a horizontal crack that ran about 20ft with an opening of 3/8 of an inch in the worst spot. Our Production Team strategically installed heavy-duty steel earth anchors in stable soil areas at a distance from the garage’s foundation. These anchors were seamlessly connected to steel wall plates using galvanized steel rods, ensuring a robust framework. Once secured, we tightened the system, both stabilizing the wall immediately and offering potential for further straightening over time. 

In this Baltimore home, deterioration started to occur on the basement walls, and the original support beams were not as secure as they once were. We were able to replace 3 center support beams with our SmartJacks to stabilize the center. All footings are installed with an over-the-top concrete restoration pour, creating maximum stability.
