Faultiness in a home's foundation wall is a daunting issue to face for any homeowner. The basement in this Island Heights, NJ home was experiencing the beginning stages of bowing in its foundation walls. Carrying on without repairing a bowing wall poses a great threat to the structure of a home, where damages can become much more severe, and eventually irreversible. Luckily, our team at Quality 1st can provide a solution that prevents foundation walls from bowing any further. Our System Design Specialist Anthony was able to give this home a proper inspection to recommend the best solution to the shifting foundation. Our crew and Foreman, Heriberto, then came to the home to carry out the installation of our Carbon Armor Wall Reinforcing System. Our Carbon Armor strips are ten times stronger than steel and are bonded to the interior walls. This gives a flexible but sturdy solution to the bowing or cracking of foundation walls, and leaves homeowners very happy with the non-invasive results!

The horizontal crack in this Lincroft, NJ basement only got worse over time as most foundations problem do. Quality 1st Basement Systems inspected the basement and noticed that the crack spanned almost the entire width of the basement! Wall Anchors were used to repair this foundation crack. Wall anchors are embedded in the soil away from the foundation wall because that soil has not been compromised like the backfill soil around the home. This wall has now been stabilized and will return back to its original position as the Wall Anchors are tightened.
