I first approached Quality 1st Basement Systems because I was interested in getting a quote for basement waterproofing, and possible foundation repair. When I first contacted them, I was very satisfied with the information that was provided to me. Ultimately however what sold me the most was the sales team. I had three estimates in the past for the work which was performed, however Ken Peare's sales tactics won me over. The crew, with Juan as the foreman, was extremely efficient, friendly and left the basement in fantastic condition. It was much appreciated!

I had a window well drain, new window well (1st Quality basement sun house) and new window installed in my basement in a area where water would get in during heavy rains. Juan Garcia was the foreman on the job and he and his crew were excellent. They were professional, courteous and patiently answered any question I had as they were performing the job. The crew was thorough and clean, which all homeowners can appreciate. When the job was done, Juan and crew did not rush out the door. Juan ensured we did a full walk through and he re-explained everything one last time. This is a fairly straightforward job for them, but I certainly will bring back 1st Quality for potential jobs down the road.

I have been completely satisfied with everything from Steve V. coming to my home and giving me a reasonable quote for doing a french drain in my cellar to Juan and his crew doing the job that I am very satisfied with. I would recommend this company for any job that that they are qualified to do.

I will also note Mike was honest with what was necessary to keep my basement dry. He worked with me as far as timing, because these type of projects are expensive to complete. From the system designer Steve, through execution and cleanup by Wilver, Carlos, Saul, Danny, and the rest of the crew - these guys were all outstanding.Overcame hiccups, accommodated the homeowner, respectful, courteous, and did it all in one day. An absolute job well done. Kudos to the admin and scheduling team in the office too. I can sleep well at night with my new Waterguard system and Triple Safe pump. Mold-x2 worked well, and the vapor barrier is QUALITY stuff too! Five stars for these guys!

After a year of consideration, I took my friends advice and contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems.  The warranty offered was one of the top reasons that Quality 1st was used.  I am very satisfied with the work that they did.  When the installation team arrived, they were eager to get the work completed and also very clean.  With my battery backup I feel confident going forward that I will not have a wet basement again and I am happy I chose to work with Quality 1st Basement Systems.

Pleasantly satisfied!  We cannot say enough good things about Quality 1st Basements! I never submit business reviews but Quality 1st deserves recognition for its fantastic work. We have been extremely satisfied with large projects they undertook for us at three different houses. Everything they've done has been very well done. We get good workmanship from Quality 1st. The first house they worked on for us in Central Jersey involved a wet basement. It needed a French drain and a sump pump. When the crew got into the crawlspace, they discovered that cats had made that area their litter box for an unknown number of years. The had to rip out all the filthy, smelly insulation before starting the job. I kept apologizing because I was clueless about the cat situation but they stayed cheerful and focused on the job. The crew was so good I specifically requested them for our next job. The second house Quality 1st worked on was at the Jersey Shore. It had been pummeled by storms over the years in a location two and a half blocks from the beach. But it was standing strong on a foundation of cinder blocks and shims that were the norm before building codes existed. When we went to sell this hundred-year-old beach house, we were annihilated by the buyer's inspection report with at least twenty pages of necessary corrective measures for the foundation. That sale didn't go through but we knew the work had to be done for the ultimate buyer, and also because all these reports become public information. So we called Quality 1st Basements for the job. I was terrified to have them working in the shallow crawlspace but down they went. They jacked the whole house up to make the necessary corrections. The job was done so professionally and thoroughly that the house sold immediately. That was a huge plus for us. We were grateful for the fantastic job done by Quality 1st. The next house we hired them we asked again for the same crew. My daughter bought another hundred-year-old Bradley Beach house that needed a sump pump. Quality 1st also put in a floor and shored up the beams in the front house basement. The back house will need a french drain eventually when they get the money. This work isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. The salesmen at Quality 1st aren't pushy. They set out the job costs and leave it up to the customer to move forward or not. But you get good work. Everything they've done for us has been done very well and we are extremely satisfied.

No water seepage in basement during the strong rains of Sept./Oct. and I am very satisfied with the work done. Office staff and salesman were very good.
