Jack from Quality 1st came by and immediately identify the source of the water issue was NOT from the foundation but most likely due to a leak in the outdoor bib. Opened the wall and there it was, water leaking from the shark bite connector.A few days ago, another contractor came and looked at the same problem and immediately quoted $3500 to install a drainpipe with no mentioning of the potential leaking issue. I think it's fair to say which business is more honest.Can't comment on how good a job Quality 1st basement is doing, but at least I know they're not going to charge me something I don't need.

Installed water guard perimeter French drain, triple safe sump. All workers were really professional, especially Victor the lead foreman was very knowledgeable and knew his job inside out. He answered all my questions and assured me that there will no issues with water in the basement anymore. Would definitely recommend this company for any waterproofing work.

I first approached Quality 1st Basement Systems back in 2011 to solve the water problems in my basement. I had a sump pump installed, as well as other waterproofing products, and I am just as pleased with my basement now as I was when the work was installed. I am very satisfied every year when Quality 1st comes out for my service appointment. First things first. Mike Fiorillo was an excellent sales rep to work with. Knowledgeable, mindful, professional, and personal at the same time. He went over all the options in detail, did not try to push or upsell on any products. Even gave some tips on the best way to finance the project. TJ showed up with his team on time, as agreed, explained, and showed me everything they will be working on. It was a big project, so it took 3 days to complete, however, each day the team showed up on time, worked very cleanly and efficiently. Everything looks great.  I also want to mention Angie Almonte from their customer service, who was very friendly and professional when she followed up after the project was completed. I am very satisfied by the job done by Quality 1st. My salesman was very professional and receptive. I initially heard about Quality 1st on the internet and was impressed with there systems. The installation team led by Jesus was the best I ever encountered. 

Overall I am extremely satisfied with all of the work done on my home by Quality 1st Basement Systems. I initially heard about Quality 1st on Angie's List and was impressed with their reviews. I researched other companies and received quotes but in the end chose Quality 1st because they had more options available for my home improvement project. When I called the office staff answered all of my questions and scheduled an appointment for a free estimate. My inspector Kenny was thorough and polite. I had a wet unfinished basement and he helped me transform the entire space to make it livable. I now have a waterproofed finished basement that I can use everyday. The installation crew led by Juan Garcia did excellent work and completed the entire project in just 2 days.

Back in 2012 I decided to get my basement waterproofed after heavy rains were causing a lot of water damage. I decided to go with Quality 1st after my neighbor recommended them to me, and I am so happy with my decision. The whole process was great, and I love my basement now.
